Expleo has a requirement for a talented and proactive Project Manager who has Supply Chain expertise to lead and coordinate end-to-end processes typically encompassing design, build, and test phases within an electronics manufacturing environment. As a key player in our Project Management team, you could manage a range of projects, including, internal design resources, external manufacturing partners, and test houses to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project execution. Your primary focus will be on optimising the Supply Chain (when applicable), meeting project timelines and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the product lifecycle, managing budgets, and optimising resource allocation to achieve project objectives.
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for design, build, and test phases. Coordinate activities across internal design teams, external manufacturing partners, and test houses to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Financial Control:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources while maintaining cost-efficiency. Monitor and control expenditures, providing regular financial updates to stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders. Act as a liaison between design, manufacturing, and testing teams to facilitate smooth project workflows.
- Supply Chain Optimisation:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the Supply Chain. Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimise resource utilization across design, build, and test functions (where the project requires Supply Chain engagement)
- Vendor and Partner Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external manufacturing partners and test houses. Collaborate on capacity planning, quality assurance, and timely delivery of components and finished products. (where the project requires Supply Chain engagement)
- Risk Management:
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, including potential disruptions, quality issues, and delays. Develop contingency plans to address challenges effectively.
- Resource Allocation:
- In conjunction with Resource owners, manage internal design resources, external manufacturers, and test houses efficiently. Ensure optimal resource allocation to meet project demands while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and uphold rigorous standards throughout the Supply Chain. Implement measures for continuous improvement in product quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Industry recognised Project Management/Supply Chain qualifications/accreditation (e.g. APM, Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply)
