We are looking for a talented Project Manager with experience managing the full software lifecycle with R&D / Research projects within a military environment. Our client is a key partner to the British MoD providing situation awareness training using emerging technologies (VR/AR) to build synthetic environments.

As a Project Manager you will lead a portfolio of research tasks, training and software development projects. Working alongside technical experts from across the business, you will also be tasked with engaging industry partners and responsible for guiding the success of product innovations.
You will work with diverse cross-functional teams responsible for delivering from concept to customer acceptance.
Your skills & experience
- Strong Project Management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in managing the full software development lifecycle
- Experience with Military Research projects i.e. Experimentation and Trials within a military environment.
- Experience with specific projects that should include one or more of the following; Situation Awareness Training. Synthetic Environments (Land, Sea, Air). 3D Simulation. Military Research.
- Background working within the defence sector or from a military background.
You must hold a British passport and be eligible for security clearance, from SC to DV.
The role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire on a hybrid working basis. You must be happy to commit to on-site work for 2 days per week.
- £65,000 to £75,000 + bonus, pension, generous benefits
