Salary on appointment will be £36,333 per annum, with an annual increment up to £43,155 per annum. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer working in the Postgraduate Research (PGR) Service. The focus of the role is to provide expert project management support for research projects as required within the PGR Service and the Doctoral College, and to support co-ordination of Postgraduate Research administration for doctoral training programmes. You will primarily support PGR Service managers and other colleagues in preparing funding bid applications to the Research Councils, and project manage Postgraduate Research projects for the Doctoral College. You will be expected to liaise, negotiate and work collaboratively, co-ordinating information across a variety of systems and teams to facilitate the effective delivery of research projects. This will be a varied and stimulating post and a key feature includes working in collaboration with external partners, such as the Norwich Bioscience Institutes (NBI). We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated candidate with the ability to manage multiple projects and with excellent communication and organisational skills. You should have experience of working in a senior administrative or project management role and with a range of partner organisations. In addition, you will be able to satisfy all essential criteria detailed in the person specification for this post. This full-time post is available immediately for a fixed term period of 6 months. The post is also available as an internal secondment within UEA, subject to line manager approval.
