Project Quality Lead

Role Context:

As a Project Quality Lead at Worley, you will play a pivotal role in leading and driving the development and implementation of robust quality management systems and processes. You will be responsible for overseeing quality management activities, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, and providing guidance to project teams. Your leadership and expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality projects, exceeding client expectations and fostering a culture of excellence.

You'll be:

  • Providing direct support to ensure that a Contract/Project Quality Management System (QMS) has been established, implemented and continually improved to meet Project Deliverables.
  • Pro-actively supporting the Project Quality Manager/Project Manager and provides guidance to the Project Quality Team to achieve Project Quality deliverables
  • Mentoring and developing trainee Quality Engineers/Practitioners, providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Performing Project-specific Quality Management and Assurance activities as detailed in the Project Quality and Assurance Plan (and as requested by the Project Quality Manager/Project Manager).
  • Deliver COPQ and CI priority projects
  • Ensuring Project compliance with ISO 9001 and the Pressure Equipment Regulations requirements.
  • Leading the project "Right First Time" Quality initiatives whilst promoting the RFT culture throughout the delivery team.

You'll have/Be:

  • A Bachelor's degree/HND/HNC in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., , ISO Lead Auditor, Member/Associate of Chartered Quality Institute (CQI)).
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer preferably in the Oil and Gas or related Industry, with a demonstrated progression into leadership roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, industry codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in conducting inspections, audits, and root cause analysis investigations.
  • A Strong understanding of statistical analysis, quality control tools, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and developing teams.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations as required.
