Project Worker - WomenCentre
We are recruiting for a part-time Project Worker for the Women Making Changes team. The post is funded by Henry Smith Charity.
As part of the Women Making Change Team you will be expected to have knowledge of a range of issues that impact on women of all ages. They may include: Homelessness, Financial Hardship, Drug & Alcohol use/abuse, Domestic Abuse, Mental and Physical Health issues, Eating Disorders / Self Harming.
- Experience in advocacy work and managing a complex caseload
- Experience of supporting people with multiple complex issues and working with competing demands
- Knowledge of all types of benefit entitlement, with an ability to assist with the completion of assessment forms
- Experience of effective multi-agency working
We are keen to receive applications from women who are flexible, adaptable and enjoy working as part of a team. The ability to speak a community language would also be desirable.
We are an organisation that promotes safeguarding practice across all our service delivery and staff and volunteer recruitment.
