The TeamOur specialist Procurement team sits within our multi-sector Projects Department, which is one of the largest in the UK, with 50+ specialist lawyers who provide award-winning expertise to high profile clients across a variety of areas.
The procurement team enjoys a rich and varied workload, handling some of the largest, most complex and politically-sensitive regulated procurements in the UK on behalf of household name clients, including UK government departments and many key strategic suppliers to Government.
Our procurement lawyers combine extensive expertise with deep technical insight across a range of sectors. We support public sector clients by developing and implementing procurement strategies, drafting and negotiating bespoke tender and contract documentation, and providing practical and effective risk mitigation advice. We also work with bidders to maximise their prospects for successful awards.

ResponsibilitiesBuilding the Culture: Recognise your responsibility as a role model to play an active role in making Burges Salmon a great place to work. Help set the cultural tone, inspiring others through your actions. Support strategic proposals and help to embed change.Delivering Results: Achieve your personal objectives. Understand business plans and assist their delivery by focusing your contribution accordingly, to align with overall priorities and implementing strategies that support their delivery.
