Bell Cornwall Recruitment are thrilled to be recruiting for this fantastic Legal Secretary position with a national law firm with a branch in Sutton Coldfield. This role will be supporting the Residential Property department so prior conveyancing experience is essential.
The key duties of the role are:
- Diary management for Fee Earners, including arranging meetings and appointments
- Routine client correspondence and enquiries, including bills
- Attending to clients both in-person and on the phone, in line with the firm's standard of client care
- Creating and maintaining client records on the firm's database, recording all communication and maintaining file notes on the system
- Handle completion funds/slips and order documents from Land Registry online system
- Manage physical client files, including copying, storage, and retrieval
- Facilitate Stamp Duty completion
- Verify cleared balances on accounts before closure
- Perform general office tasks such as typing, photocopying, filing, and email/fax management
- Reception cover where needed
