Our client is searching for a confident, full time, permanent Letting Property Manager to join their team in Northampton.

Although the job is tough and you will need to be resourceful and resilient, they are a supportive team of 10 covering a variety of roles supporting their landlords and tenants.
Lettings Property Manager - Job Role
Their lettings Property Managers are the first point of contact for their clients - be that as a Landlord or Tenant. The job is immensely varied from managing issues in line with relevant property compliance obligations, property inspections to checking in with landlords, managing landlord and tenant enquires, to maintaining accurate property files. No two days are ever the same. The successful applicant will ensure that the following are carried out for our 680+ managed tenancies. Although not carrying out all tasks themselves, there is an expectation to roll up the sleeves and get stuck in, if needs be.
- Responsible for the smooth running property management department
- Co-ordinate property inspections and reporting accordingly
- Liaison with Landlords & Tenants
- Completing Inventories
- Carrying out final inspections
- Maintenance reporting
- Ensuring gas & electric certificates are up to date
This role will be based out of their Northampton office, where you will be supported by the most successful lettings team in the town. You will become the port of call for landlords who engage with our part or fully managed services and be the co-ordinator of support for the landlords & tenants, specifically managing any property issues that may arise.

- Strong IT skills essential and knowledge of the CFP Winman package an advantage, but not essential.
You will also need a full driving licence and your own car, a level of fitness that will enable you to be willing to work on the occasional Saturday to cover holidays.
