We're on the lookout for a dynamic leader to step into the shoes of our Property Services Group. If you're all about hands-on leadership, property management, and want a job that keeps you on your toes, this might just be it.
**Your Role:**
Lead the charge on maintenance, repair, and refurbishment projects across a mix of properties – from corporate buildings to cool commercial spots and everything in between. Expect each day to bring something new.
**Your Mission:**
As the go-to senior leader, you'll be directing teams in major projects, from sprucing up properties to diving into big capital investments. Plus, you get to play a role in our ambitious Climate Emergency agenda – aiming for Net Carbon Zero by 2030.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Membership in a relevant property and/or construction-related Chartered Institution or Professional Body.
- Qualification to at least degree level or equivalent in a relevant property and/or construction discipline.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of legislative and statutory obligations impacting property, construction, and procurement activities.
- Proven extensive experience in managing personnel and overseeing change/transformation processes.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in successfully delivering intricate property and construction projects.
- Provide visible and impactful leadership throughout the Authority and Service Area, making a positive contribution.
- Develop and implement new policies along with the supporting procedures and systems.
- Lead personal and team's continuing professional (CPD) and personal development.
- Possess excellent analytical skills and confidence to challenge ineffective performance.
- Act as a deputy for the Head of Service as needed.
