Prosthetic / Orthotic Technician who has experience in the manufacture, align, service and repair prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices is required for a well-established company based in Manchester, North West England. Working as the Prosthetic / Orthotic Technician you will work as part of the technical team within the multi-disciplinary service in the Manchester Clinic. As the Prosthetic / Orthotic Technician you will be working alongside Prosthetists and Physiotherapists to ensure a holistic provision of rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be part of a team of six Manchester based technicians. DUTIES Your duties as the Prosthetic / Orthotic Technician include: Manufacture, align, service and repair prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices Consistently achieve quality standards and meet Patient appointment deadlines Understand the principles of alignment and openly discuss with clinical team members Liaise with patients, so good communication skills are required Record and update production records within our SAP business system Work alone and alongside a multi-disciplinary team CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Previous technical experience in prosthetics or orthotic manufacture A strong understanding of health and safety within a workshop environment and ability to work with Information technology is also required A dynamic and proactive approach to self-development, with a keen desire to learn and expand your manufacturing skills is essential HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
