SalaryShire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work across a range of care homes, based across Staffordshire, Manchester, Derby, Tipton, and South Yorkshire.

Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will provide clinical support to older adults (65+) and some younger service users, who present with neuro-degenerative conditions such as Dementia, Parkinsons, Huntington's and other complex care.
The post holder will work within an MDT to provide formulations, assessments and appropriate interventions to service users. They will also lead and manage a team of Assistant Psychologists and provide supervision to other Psychologists. The successful candidate will contribute to re-designing the psychological model of care across the homes.
Contract type – permanent
Hours – full time, 37.5 hours per week (part-time can be considered.)
Salary - £55,000 - £60,000 FTE (negotiable)
Experience required:
Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as either a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist along with experience working within a mental health setting. Prior neuro experience isn't mandatory but an interest in this is desirable.
