We have a number of Teaching Assistant roles available within a fantastic specialist school in Whitley Bay.
We have a variety of roles available, ranging from working with students aged 2 – 18. These roles include working closely with children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) and social-emotional mental health needs (SEMH), as well as disabilities. We are looking for empathetic graduates who are keen to gain invaluable classroom experience. Through these roles not only will you be supporting students with their learning but you'll also be ensuring all of their needs are met so they can achieve their goals and have a memorable school experience.
These roles will give you invaluable long-term classroom experience and will give you the opportunity to develop your skills so you can thrive.

The Opportunities:
- Full-time: 35-hour working week (Monday – Friday)
- 3 roles available all at £23,485.80 per year (Pro-Rata)
- Work within a supportive school with a positive environment
- Gain training and guidance from experienced members of staff
- Choose from working with primary school-aged students up to the post-16 age group
- Gain invaluable experience working with children to support you in exploring a career within education (e.g teacher or educational psychologist)
What We Are Looking For:
- Hold a completed bachelor's degree (minimum 2:2)
- A friendly, bubbly personality who's able to build strong relationships with others
- Adaptable and able to work well in a team
- Empathetic, caring individual
- Resilient individual who's able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience/knowledge surrounding SEN SEMH (beneficial but not essential)
