Job Description:
Finance
- Provide monthly Financial summary of Revenue, GP and EBITDA.
- Produce Monthly Management Information pack for each of the companies, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Forecast P&L, Cash flow Statement.
- Fortnightly Cash flow update with help of Finance Assistant.
- Compile budgets and keep updated for next 3 years.
- Create and update P&L forecasts weekly.
- Monitor and manage CAPEX spending, annual budgets set with Board.
- Work with external providers on the production of Annual Accounts and Audit.
- Provide financial advice/recommendations to board on investment decisions or opportunities, investment analysis.
HR
- Recruiting new personnel, creating job descriptions and adverts, conducting interviews where relevant.
- Assisting in disciplinaries and grievances, providing HR advice and note-taking.
- Maintaining HR records, ensuring all personnel and training records are up to date.
- On boarding new starters, ensuring all correct paperwork is in place.
- Off boarding leavers.
- Managing the appraisal process and ensuring staff are given the opportunity to develop and progress.
- Updating/developing HR and Finance procedures in line with any regulatory changes. Review all processes and procedures a minimum of every 12 months.
- Setting workshop pay levels and conducting pay reviews on an annual basis for implementation from April each year where relevant.
- Negotiating Settlement/Redundancy situations.
Skills & experience:
- Either:
- CIMA or ACCA qualified, or
- 5+ years of experience in a Financial Controller or similar role.
- Good understanding of ACAS best practices.
- HR Management experience.
- Manufacturing experience is essential
- M&A and Audit experience beneficial.
