Overview:
First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit a Public Accounts Clerk on a permanent basis due to growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deal with enquiries regarding Public Accounts Claims.
• When selected for audit, you will be responsible for contacting personnel regarding requirements.
• Audit and checking the entitlement of personnel for all claims.
• Advise personnel of the correct entitlement for travel expenses.
• With consent, recover any monies claimed in error.
• Maintain an up to date and accurate spreadsheet containing details of all items currently on the workflow on a daily basis and show the progress of these items.
• Ensure all audits are recorded correctly on the spreadsheet and stored safely.
• Inputting and raising recoveries for accommodation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent or NVQ Business Administration Level 1
• Excellent MS office skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

The following qualifications will be provided for the successful candidate:

• Financial Skills Certificate
• Public Accounts Training
• COM Training
