Public and Green Space Team Leader - 1 year contract in Exeter - FANTASTIC JOB OPPORTUNITY!

• 15.17 per hour (gross)
• Monday to Friday (Days)
• The Job is based in Exeter.
• 1 year contract
• Immediate start for the right applicant

Main Duties:

• Understand and organise resources such as staff, plant, materials, and equipment.
• Supervise and support the Public and Green Space Operators actively in the streets, parks, and open spaces to meet the demand for cleansing, and grounds maintenance services.
• Respond to requests for resources from Public and Green Space Operators, and external sources to ensure efficient operations.
• Undertake quarterly inspections of playground equipment, writing reports and arranging appropriate levels of replacement/withdrawal/ repairs of equipment to ensure safe levels of play.
• Advise and assist people and businesses in keeping their local area looking good and acting as an ambassador.

Requirements:

• Cleansing, horticultural or grounds maintenance services experience
• Experience of working with specialist cleansing and grounds maintenance equipment
• Experience of problem solving in a high-pressured front line service environment
• Experience of field staff supervision
• Civil environmental and nuisance enforcement experience

15.17 per hour (gross) - Monday to Friday - 1 year contract - superb working environment.
