Purchasing & Sales Assistant
Annual Salary: £20,000 - £26,000

My client based in Corby, are seeking a Purchasing & Sales Assistant to join their innovative and dynamic team. This role offers an immediate start with full training provided, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in a supportive environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Process orders via email or phone and handle purchase requisitions.
- Ensure data accuracy in orders and invoices.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to guarantee timely deliveries.
- Maintain and update sales and customer records.
- Develop monthly sales reports and communicate important information to customers and stakeholders.
- Stay informed about new products and features.
- Utilise SAGE accountancy software to create reports, orders, and invoicing.
- Keep sales spreadsheets and customer tracking information up to date.
- Engage in product/supplier sourcing and create part numbers and bills of materials.
- Maintain the purchasing system and files efficiently.
- Adapt to changes in customer demand and resolve any invoice or customer queries.
- Manage stock control and expediting processes.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Sage Accounting is advantageous.
- AAT qualification or currently in training.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Great communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent computer skills.
- Ability to commute to Corby.
