Do you have Purchase Ledger experience? Are you looking for a new role? My client, established in the 1960’s is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join its small but friendly team. With a customer base covering the whole of the UK, this is an exciting role for someone who is looking to develop their career within a finance department.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an Accounts department – ideally Purchase Ledger.
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Microsoft Business Central, Navision or similar ERP system
- Good eye for detail
- Experience of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Own transport due to location
Duties and responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately onto the ERP system
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Payment of suppliers using BACS and some cheque payments
- Maintain supplier records on the ERP System
- File all documents accurately.
- Assist with supplier and colleague’s queries.
