Job Title:Purchase Ledger Assistant
Location: Bolton
Salary: Up to £25k
We are currently seeking an experienced and hard-working individual to join our client's team as a Purchase Ledger Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient management of the accounts payable processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase Ledger Management:
- Meticulously match, batch, and code invoices.
- Process invoices onto the accounts Purchase Ledger accurately and promptly.
- Handle both internal and external queries from suppliers in a professional manner.
- Approve invoices on our system for timely payment.
- Execute payment runs using our accounts system, bankline, and Excel spreadsheets.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation by filing, scanning, and organizing in our document management system.
- Reconcile monthly statements and perform year-end supplier statement reconciliations.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in Purchase Ledger.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and learn new systems and processes.
