Rebus Recruitment have the greatest pleasure of exclusively working with an excellent business-based in Chorley who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant . The company is a leader within its industry and has a well-established customer base which continues to grow organically and through different revenue channels.
The lucky candidate will work underneath a strong and dynamic Financial Controller and be part of a small but established team. This is a busy department, so they require a proactive thinker and a great can-do attitude who enjoys being part of a team environment.

The role of Purchase Ledger Assistant will include: -
Fully responsible for the processing of Purchase Ledger invoices - matching, batching, and coding accurately against the nominal ledger codes.
Completing all the supplier statement reconciliations in a timely fashion for the supplier payments.
Investigating any queries to full resolve with internal departments and external suppliers.
Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining supplier details are all accurate.
Responsible for all the debit and credit notes against the ledger.
Processing of all the remittance to suppliers' pre-payment.
Preparation of weekly reports around the payment schedule including timeframes/deadlines.
Completed the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks around ledger procedures.
Suitable candidates will be able demonstrate the following attributes: -
Good knowledge of Excel
3 years' experience within Purchase Ledger
Keen eye for detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
