I am seeking a diligent Purchase Ledger Clerk to join my client's team on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is office-based in Braintree and involves managing high volumes of invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
Day-to-day of the role:- Processing high volumes of invoices, ensuring they are accurately matched to purchase orders and entered into the system.
- Reconciling supplier statements to ledger accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
- Handling supplier queries and building strong relationships with vendors.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
- Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger role or similar.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of invoices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
