TITLE: Purchase ledger Assistant

SALARY: GBP23,000-GBP24,000 per annum
HOURS: Monday to Friday 35 hours per week 9am 5pm
Hybrid working offered with a minimum of 2 days in the office
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Administrator with excellent organisation and coordination skills. If you have worked in Purchase Ledger beforehand that would be the ideal, if not training will be provided. We are looking for an exceptional administrator who wants to work in a dedicated, friendly, forward-thinking company who really look after their staff.
The Opportunity:
This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to work in a finance team as a Purchase Ledger Assistant.
Role profile:
- Maintain a record of all invoices and expenses
- Receive and record al purchase invoices and process them on the system for payment
- Maintain supplier records
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Maintain lists and records for in-house purposes
- Provide administrative support
- Assist with the cover for other staff members
- Maintain accurate records
Person profile:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Previous experience of working within an administrative position
- Ideally Purchase Ledger experience
- Highly organised and able to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy levels
- Strong prioritising skills
