Alexander Daniels are proud to be working with one of our construction clients in Telford to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a full-time, permanent basis. Working in a small, friendly finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full Purchase Ledger process alongside one other colleague.
Some main responsibilities include:
- Accurately processing purchase orders (minimum 50 per day)
- Statement reconciliations
- Resolving any customer queries whcih may arise
- Maintaining customer relationships
- Assisting with daily and adhoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will have worked in an end-to-end Purchase Ledger role, have previous experience working on CIS payments and be confident using Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs) on a daily basis. The business will offer a chance for the successful candidate to progress into a more supervisory position as the business grows.

Please note this is a office-based role, Monday to Friday from 8:30 - 4:30 (some flexibility can be discussed) so only candidates who can commute to Telford will be considered.
