Purchase Ledger Clerk - Part Time

Your new roleYou will be working as part of a friendly accounts team with duties including: To check purchase invoices using various automated and manual matching systems to ensure that they are for valid company expenditure and are appropriately authorised. To process purchase invoices onto our accounting system To process supplier payments to ensure that all purchase invoices are paid in a timely manner in accordance with the Company's terms and conditions. To deal with supplier queries (to include supplier statement reconciliations and setting up new supplier accounts etc), to ensure that we have all relevant invoices included in our accounts in a timely manner Running month-end reports and agreement of intercompany balances, to ensure that there are no errors/anomalies and that group reporting of balances is correct. Other Purchase Ledger duties and ad hoc queries ( to include covering other areas within the financial accounting team due to holidays, absence etc)What you'll need to succeedOur client is looking for someone who is keen and eager, with good communication skills, where you are happy to talk to internal staff to resolve queries. You should have good accuracy and attention to detail Previous accounts or Purchase Ledger experience is essentialWhat you'll get in returnThis is a great opportunity to work for a large successful business with a good team culture.
