Purchase Ledger Manager

Robert Half Cambridge are partnered with a business based in Huntingdon who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Manager to join them. This role is responsible for the Payable functions and managing three direct reports.

This role is paying a salary up to £43,000, dependant on experience. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office and 3 from home.

Responsibilities:

• To manage the Purchase Ledger team on a day-to-day basis to ensure Purchase Ledger work is efficiently distributed to team members for processing.
• Provide regular feedback and updates to the Head of Finance with regard to both business and team activities and issues.
• Ensure all relevant costs are charged to customers and all overhead invoices are paid on agreed timescales.
• To ensure appropriate policies and procedures are followed for the processing and authorisation of costs, included invoices, credit cards and expenses.
• Resolve queries from internal departments or external suppliers regarding invoice payments.
• Mentoring and training of 3 direct reports.

Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role with management experience
• Ability to manage and motivate team members.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT skills with knowledge of MS office
• Good communication skills.
