Maternity Cover 6-9 months – Purchasing Manager/Assistant – Portsmouth
Working hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30-4:30/00pm - standard hours
Salary: £23-24,000 per annum dependent on experience (flexibility for more experienced candidates)
Daily tasks:
- Material requirements planning - actioning based on system suggestions
- Order bank Monday-Friday - Data entry of sales received for the day and invoicing
- Raising purchase orders for projects on receipt of a quote
- Raising purchase orders for subcontract work
- Updating BOMS as and when required
- Adding/amending part numbers as and when required
- Monitoring project requirements - informing project team of due dates for project parts
- Creating new BOMS as and when required
- Update purchase orders when order confirmations are received & query any discrepancies
- Add new suppliers to Sage 500 as and when required
Weekly tasks:
- Raising purchase orders for consumables - as requested from production manager
- Sundry ordering once per week
- Projects, production, damaged in production and RMA manual adjustments stock adjustments
- Material certificate cert scanning and filing
- Link numbers – counting stock levels from MRP system
- Stock takes data entry
