Just Temps are currently seeking for a Purchasing Administrator for our client based in Sudbury, Suffolk.
Working hours and rate of pay:
Monday - Friday.
08:30am - 17:00pm.
10.67 per hour.
Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
Develop a full understanding of the total supply chain function.
Directly support the local team of buyers with day to day procurement activity.
Actively seek to reduce stock holding and material costs.
Develop awareness of the profit implication of stock holding costs.
Develop and maintain a good knowledge of all packaging solutions.
To purchase standard and non-standard stock items, maintaining cost effective stock levels.
Administer purchase orders and all other associated administration.
To ensure that purchasing transactions are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Liaising with existing suppliers and source alternative suppliers when necessary.
Prior administration experience beneficial.
Within this role you will gain varied exposure to wider procurement tasks and scenarios whilst actively focusing on ensuring that correct stock/inventory levels are ordered and held for customers.
