Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week

Are you looking to progress your experience in Purchasing and take to the next level?

This company provide innovative engineered solutions and systems to a global customer base. Due to some exciting growth they are looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator  to support the wider Purchasing and Planning team. You will be supporting the business in ensuring purchase orders are placed and expedited in order to meet customer and project demands. If you already have some basic purchasing experience but are now ready for a role where you can develop and get more involved in the purchasing activities then this role would be a great fit.

As the Purchasing administrator you will be getting involved in:

• Working within the materials and procurement function to ensure on-time in-full delivery of materials and components to ensure material availability for production
• Raising, placing and chasing purchase orders
• Ensuring stock accuracy of materials and attainment of min/max levels
• Managing and implementing call-off orders and pricing agreements
• Supporting project planning activities and ensure materials are scheduled in-line with demand

The Person:

• Previous exposure to purchasing processes and materials processes
• Excellent communication skills and confident in talking to suppliers
• Previous experience gained within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Previous experience in Purchasing Administration / Purchasing Assistant level roles
