Purchasing Administrator
Part time position - 25 hours per week 5 hours / 5 days.
£23,000 - £25,000 FTE.
A supply company based in Crawley are currently looking for a part time team member to join and support their purchasing team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working as a point of contact for sales team to ensure customer needs are met
- Assist the sales team customer orders
- Check order confirmations for accuracy and updating the system with correct pricing and delivery dates
- Developing relationships with suppliers
- Working with freight companies to achieve timely and cost effective deliveries
- Submit, track and recover freight claims on loss and damages
- Maintaining delivery date integrity on the system and expediting overdue Purchase Orders
- New product set up and ongoing maintenance of product data on the system
- Understand and contribute to company KPIs as detailed on the bonus plan
- Covering and assisting other members of the purchasing team as required
- General purchasing admin and tasks as required
