Description
The main responsibilities for the Purchasing Administrator role are:
SAP Administration:
- Utilise SAP to manage and streamline purchasing processes.
- Maintain and update SAP records related to suppliers, purchase orders, and inventory.
Data Management:
- Input and update data in SAP to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Regularly review and cleanse data to maintain the integrity of purchasing information.
Purchasing Process Oversight:
- Collaborate with the Purchasing team to ensure SAP aligns with procurement policies and procedures.
- Provide support in creating and managing purchase orders and contracts within SAP.
Supplier Management:
- Assist in maintaining a comprehensive database of suppliers in SAP.
- Monitor supplier performance and update relevant information in the system.
Reporting:
- Generate and analyse SAP reports to provide insights into purchasing activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide data for budgeting and forecasting.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Act as the point of contact for SAP-related issues within the Purchasing department.
- Provide guidance and support to end-users on SAP functionalities.
Process Improvements:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the SAP purchasing module.
- Collaborate with IT and Purchasing teams to implement enhancements.
