Purchasing Assistant

My client based in St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant to join their team on a full time permanent basis. Monday to Thursday 8-5pm and early finish on a Friday, paying up to £23,000.
Job Specification:
· Placing of routine POs to support production plans
· Call-offs and progress/chasing of existing POs
· Purchase of sundry, ad-hoc and stationery items
· Maintenance of vendors and associated KPIs
Person Specification:
· Confident communicator
· Proficient in use of Microsoft Teams and Office package
· Self-starter, keen to develop professional career in manufacturing procurement.
· Some basic purchasing experience preferably in manufacturing but not essential if you have other relevant administrative experience
