Polytec are looking for a Materials and Purchasing Assistant for our client based just south of Cambridge. You should have experience working in a goods-in environment and familiarity with ERP systems.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years' experience in a buying and stock control manufacturing environment
* A background in a textile, chemicals, paper/packaging or electronics industry
* Familiar with ERP and Kanban systems
* Experience of purchasing both manufactured and COTS parts
* Ability to negotiate with suppliers and reduce costs
* Experience in goods received and dispatched
