We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant who will be responsible for supporting a procurement team in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Price Maintenance (SC115): Ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing information in our systems to support procurement activities.
- Contract Entry (PC120): Assist in the creation and entry of contracts for authorization, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Part (BM130) and Supplier (PL110) Maintenance: Manage part and supplier information, including updates and maintenance as needed.
- Supplier Communication: Coordinate with suppliers for sending and receiving QA forms, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Data Management: Assist in loading new ingredient and supplier data into relevant systems, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and monitor stage reviews and approval progress for procurement activities.
- Support with QA Team: Provide support to the QA team by fulfilling information requests related to procurement.
- Price Updates: Assist in unity price updates, factored and costing price requests, and address general pricing queries.
- Documentation Management: Populate evaluation forms, update savings logs, and maintain documentation related to procurement activities.
- System Management: Utilize Coupa and Excel for managing price history databases, including database maintenance and updates.
- Spreadsheet Management: Update Mintec spreadsheet and assist in managing price risk matrix, payment term tracker, and Palm quarterly submissions.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with procurement software such as Coupa is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
