The Purchasing Business Partner contributes to the efficiency of the Purchasing department, to the respect of internal control rules, to follow suppliers’ risk and to feed the L’Oreal for the Future program. The Business Partner will sit in the Business Partner team and reporting into the Head of Business Partners.
The Business Partner is clearly oriented toward the L'Oréal business to be considered as an asset for the business unit and a source of efficiency, innovation, and value out.
You will
• Develop deep knowledge of the business needs, expectations, priorities, and goals across the indirect spend categories and anticipate new sourcing and future solutions, in partnership with the Sourcing Buyer
• Deliver the purchasing strategy with Sourcing Buyers, organise advance action plans to benefit from market opportunities
• Anticipate business activity and proactively contribute to build, share, and apply the category strategy, using the category network
• Optimise costs based on the validated briefs, organise efficient follow-up of the projects in order to guarantee the cost, the quality, the on-time delivery and the service levels
• Operate short term or non-recurrent RFPs in alignment with Sourcing Buyers
• Analyse business needs and challenge demand; collect, understand and challenge stakeholders needs and promote demand management. Apply value-add methodology to optimize quality, service and cost
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and contribute to supplier evaluation based on all operations managed by Suppliers inc. formal evaluation of the total performance (price, quality, innovation, service and sustainability)
• Support the change following implementation of any new solutions, new ways of working internally including part of the training in conjunction with the Sourcing Team
• Manage performance & efficiency, build cost forecasts, manage KPIs, build continuous improvement strategy for financial and non-financial KPIs, ensuring data quality throughout
• Support the Budget process by identifying opportunities. Accountable for tracking the realisation of savings in year with stakeholders linked to your initiatives or projects, in collaboration with the Sourcing Excellence team
• Ensure utilisation of the e-procurement tools (e.g. MySourcing and MyMarket) and guarantee accurate data in these systems
