Then we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join an expanding automotive industry leader with over 40 years' experience.
Purchasing Manager Benefits:
- Up to £46,000 p/a.
- Up to 10% bonus.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

- Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.45pm & Friday 8am - 12pm.
Purchasing Manager Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
- Run tenders, evaluate bids, and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors.
- Negotiate, execute, and monitor contractual agreements with key suppliers.
- Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Demonstrate communication skills, with ability to interact unsupervised with clients, suppliers & internal stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met.
- Attend and chair meetings with both local and central stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with trends and innovations, regulation and new technology that can impact on the business.
- To lead and manage engineering to achieve budgets and targets.
- Provide escalation support to colleagues in procurement to resolve supply issues.
Purchasing Manager Experience / Skills:
- Purchasing or supply chain procurement qualification.
- Previous experience at senior level preferable in an automotive environment.
