We're on the lookout for a talented Python Developer who can play a pivotal role in developing, supporting, and enhancing business-critical systems for the Investment Division.
Role Highlights: ✨ Join forces with the Risk & Performance team on groundbreaking projects ✨ Shape and deliver in-house applications, contributing to larger initiatives ✨ Harness Python (3.10+), C#, and SQL to craft solutions for investment challenges ✨ Navigate technical decisions with a deep understanding of both business and technology ✨ Full Stack Development – from data access to front-end web mastery ✨ Dive into a direct collaboration within a dynamic vertical business unit
Your Expertise:
- 3-4 years' Python (3.10+), C#, and SQL development experience
- Modern software architecture and cloud platform aficionado
- Craft high-quality, testable code in an OO environment
- Full stack wizardry – middleware (APIs/Microservices) to front-end
- Analytical prowess to define business requirements, from liquidity forecasts to risk factors
- Past experience in asset owner/manager environment, ideally working with Risk teams
- Navigate Risk systems and their data (e.g., Bloomberg MARS, MSCI RiskMetrics, Barra, Axioma etc.)
- Insight into various asset classes (equities, fixed income, fx, etc)
- Business process modeling finesse
- Reporting and analytical data virtuoso
- Deploy solutions in Azure; thrive in an Agile environment
Extra Credit for:
- Charting libraries expertise (Plotly, Highcharts, Dash, etc)
- JavaScript web frameworks knowledge (React, Angular, etc)
- Familiarity with Databricks, PowerBI, and Azure DevOps
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CQF, CAIA
