QA Analyst - Contract

3 months - possible extension

£225 - £300per day depending on PAYE or LTD

Basingstoke

Due to a busy project, our client is looking to onboard a QA Analyst Contractor for 3 months. Experience and qualification in this area is a must.

Duties included but not limited to:-

• Test Planning: agreeing testing requirements and approach; writing test scripts for specific scenarios; validating the changes delivered against requirements.
• Test execution: executing test scripts; documenting test activities in Test rail / Jira; reporting test activities
• Ensuring components and features are tested and behave in a consistent manner, reviewing and analysing
• Raising, triaging and managing defects within our internal management system. Implementing and maintaining test cases.
• Quality focused and with a commitment to best practice.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to describe complex subject matter to internal and offshore teams.

Skills

• Experience testing web, desktop and/or mobile software
• Manual & Automation Testing
• Ability to prioritise based on project demands and risks
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to write clear test conditions / cases & analyse
• Knowledge of manual test techniques - test rail or equivalent
• Technical skills: Confluence, Jira, Java, Python, Power BI, Soap UI, SQL
• Working in phases of the test delivery life cycle including creation of Test Strategy / Plan documentation. Test Governance, Design, Estimation, Defect Triage, Defect Report, Execution, Test Progress Reporting and Test Closure
• Android and iOS familiarity& understand of APIs desirable

This Contract role is for 3 months initially with a possible extension. You will be required to attend the office.
Salary circa £225 to £275 per day depending on experience.
