Position Overview
The Quality Manager will play a key role in ensuring the highest food safety and hygiene standards are met across the board. You will lead and support the quality control team, check product quality on the factory floor, and play a crucial role in ensuring a high standard of site hygiene and housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the quality control team.
- Supervise and ensure food safety and hygiene protocols are followed by all personnel on the factory floor.
- Ensure all paperwork related to HACCP or food safety procedures are accurately completed.
- Check product quality frequently on the factory floor.
- Maintain a high standard of site hygiene and housekeeping.
- Issue and collect daily quality documentation.
- Develop a culture that values and nurtures continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience working as a QA Manager within food manufacturing.
- A keen emphasis on hygiene and housekeeping.
- Effective organisational and time management skills.
- Proven track record in Quality control.
