Your responsibilities would include:
- Being a key main contact within the HACCP team
- Conducting internal audits to ensure the site is in line with all legal requirements
- Promoting safety, quality and continuous improvement culture throughout the team
- Use QMS extensively to ensure product safety, legality, quality and customer specifications
- Manage the pesticide and microbiological samples for testing
- Attending site meetings and summarising data/reports to implement and show where improvements can be made
- Utilise MRP system
- Conduct investigations and review all internal policies and procedures
- Drive the team to complete tasks, develop and mentor and communicate to push a customer first culture
Requirements/desired skillset:
- Minimum of a year within fresh produce ad quality assurance
- HACCP Level 1 - Level 2 would be ideal, but not essential
- Experience of internal auditing
- Fantastic people skills, able to communicate and motivate a team
- Strong team player but able to work independently
- Analytical, articulate with a strong attention to detail
- Proactive in raising awareness of any issues and being naturally solution driven
Contract and Working Pattern:
- Wednesday: 6am-2pm
- Thursday to Saturday: 6am-6pm
- Permanent contract
