We are looking for a QA Team Leader!
At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.
You will join us on a fulltime permanent contract.
Our day shift operates on a Sunday to Wednesday shift pattern arrangement. The shift times are 06:00 - 14:00 (Wednsday) and 06:00-18:00 (Thursday to Saturday).

The job role
As a QA Team Leader you will be responsible for the leadership of the QA team, delivering an effective operation on a day-to-day basis. In this role you should ensure that all production and quality procedures are adhered to at all times.
The responsibilities of the role include:
· Work within and use the QMS to ensure product safety, legality, quality and customer specifications are always achieved.
· Maintain all Specifications (internal and external) are current and available to all relevant teams.
· Work within and use the QMS to ensure product safety, legality, quality and customer specifications are always achieved.
· Promote a Food Safety and Quality Culture throughout your team and the wider business.
· A key member of the HACCP Team, attend and participate in all HACCP meetings.
· Attend site meetings as required and prepare accordingly. Voice any quality/technical concerns, sharing any relevant information with the technical team.
· Collate data for KPI’s and trend analysis, investigate and report findings to the technical team.
· Manage the continuous development of your direct reports and wider team to ensure a succession planning culture.
What we will be looking for in your skills set
- Minimum of 1 year working in a QA role within a fresh produce environment
- HACCP Level 1
- Familiarity of working in a warehousing/production environment
- Team player
