QA/QC Manager (Personal Care/Household Products)

£60,000 to £70,000 + Bonus, Pension, Life Insurance & Holiday.
The opportunity:
An exciting FMCG challenger experiencing unprecedented growth, seeking an organised, ambitious, and seasoned QA/QC Manager to join their high performing team.
What will my accountabilities be?
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the stability and correct manufacturing of all products. Your role will encompass comprehensive end-to-end quality control, involving documentation and testing, reviewing raw materials, overseeing our clients' mixing processes to ensure compliance with relevant ISO or GMP requirements, authorizing production runs, troubleshooting QA/QC failures, and resolving problems.
You will collaborate with a production team consisting of a Head of Production, a Production Manager, Product Mixers, and Machine Operatives. In your role, you will be supported by a team of Product Development chemists and the Operations Director. Together, you will work on analogous projects related to production QA, such as establishing QA/QC systems and processes with clear accountability.
A great candidate will have:
Essential: A minimum degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
Essential: 3+ years of hands-on managerial experience in QA/QC gained within the Personal Care, Cosmetics, Pharma, or Household products space.
Hold certifications in both Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
Have received training in Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO standards.
Showcase proven expertise in manufacturing and QA/QC for raw materials.
Possess a robust background in pertinent analytical techniques.
Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities, adept problem-solving skills, and strong organizational capabilities.
Be a self-starter and finisher with impeccably high standards.
