Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Senior Young Persons Support Worker on a Permanent basis at our scheme in Berkhamsted.
A bit about the role:
As a Senior Young Persons Support Worker, you will assist the Project Manager in the day-to-day management of a supported housing project for young people aged 16 to 25.
You will line manage and motivate Specialist Support Workers to meet their objectives and to ensure that all project work undertaken meets the required standard.
Some of the key results for the role include:
Provide advice and guidance to the Specialist Support Workers who support 16-25-year-olds with varying complex needs.
Meet with the Specialist Support Workers to assist them with their identified goals and discuss the progress of each resident.
Support the Project Manager in undertaking the quarterly reviews so evidence can be provided towards each resident's independent living journey known as 'moving on'.
Support the Project Manager to ensure that the scheme meeting building and regulatory compliance.
This role will require an Enhanced DBS check, a UK driver’s licence, and access to a vehicle.
Please note this role does require the successful candidate to cover out of hours on call duties in rotation with the rest of the team.
