Our Energy division have a great opportunity available for a QHSE Team Leader, based at our facility in Peterhead. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who already has a good grounding in QHSE and is seeking to develop their career with a well known and highly respected industry leader within the energy sector.
- Ensuring all activities undertaken is in compliance with the SEL ISO9001 & AS9100 Quality Management Systems. ISO18001 Health and Safety Management System. ISO 14001 Environmental Systems
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
- Controlling the QHS&E management systems, making updates and improvements
- Ensuring continuing compliance with the relevant management standards
- Ensuring procedures / work instructions are current
- Supervise Quality & HSE department team members and trainees
- Participate in Management Review
- Perform annual appraisals on team members
- Input to the QHSE aspects of the annual internal audit plans to ensure that operations are suitably audited to satisfy the Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Policy objectives
- Ensure regular feedback is given to departmental personnel via Team Talks and Toolbox Talks
- Monitor the team’s Vital performance
- Ensure own and departmental competencies are current
- Provide support to all disciplines within the company’s organisation
- Quality control surveillance
- Reviewing & conducting QHS&E inspections and audits
- Contribute to the monitoring of Suppliers and Sub – contractors
- Document and data control – company / client drawings & specifications
- Control of quality records
- Control of non-conforming product
- Processing internal / external / supplier non conformances
- Inspection of purchased certified goods to ensure compliance with the purchase order content and certification requirements
- Maintain calibration system and record.
- Undertake management system audits as necessary
- Liase with client inspection representatives as necessary
- Undertake internal and external training to ensure job performance competency
- Adherence to company requirements in respect to Health, Safety and Environmental aspects
- Provide assistance in the continuous improvement of the company’s quality, Health, Safety & Environmental management systems
- Investigating Incidents, incidents and non-compliance
- Liaising with clients, auditors and regulators
- Will be expected to react with urgency when required for any type of incident including security issues
