Pertemps are recruiting for a Qualified Bookkeeper.Pertemps are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Qualified Bookkeeper to join our client's team and contribute to the success of their organisation.Salary: £28k - £30kPermanent, Full-time position.Monday-Friday Standard Office Hours Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Handle payroll processing and related tasks
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and resolve discrepancies.
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and best practices.
- Raising sales invoices
- Matching purchase invoices
- Making supplier and subcontractor payments
- Filing VAT returns
- Filing CIS returns
- Processing payroll/ company pensions
- Qualified bookkeeping certificate
- Competent in using xero accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
