SalaryWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Qualfied Dental Nurse to join a Private Dental Practice in Kingston Upon Thames. The Practice Specialises in Cosmetic, Inplant and Aestetic Dentistry.
Dental Nurse Job Role:
You will be supporting our clinical team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and contributing to the smooth operation of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and hygienists during various dental procedures.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control and health and safety protocols.
- Provide patient care and support, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care instructions to patients.
- Assist in the management of dental emergencies.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Provide coverage at the reception desk when needed, assisting with front desk operations and patient inquiries to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Nurse in a Dental Practice setting (Essential)
- Comprehensive dental knowledge and experience in general, cosmetic, and specialist treatments.
- Must be proficient with SOE dental software.
- Qualified Dental Nurse with GDC registration (Essential)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
