Remedy Education are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our dedicated team. As a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) holder, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional education and support to students with special educational needs.
Position: QTS Qualified SEN Teacher
Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students with special educational needs, ensuring lessons are differentiated to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with the SENCO, other teachers, and support staff to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students with SEN.
* Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and assistive technologies to engage and support students with diverse learning needs.
* Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to both students and parents/carers.
* Attend and contribute to relevant meetings, including Individual Education Plan (IEP) reviews, staff meetings, and parent consultations.
* Work closely with external agencies and specialists to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to meeting the needs of students with SEN.
* Stay informed about the latest developments in SEN education and incorporate best practices into teaching strategies.
Requirements:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with a proven track record of successful teaching experience.
* Specialized knowledge and experience in teaching students with a range of special educational needs.
* Strong understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
* A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes equal opportunities for all students.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to special educational needs.
