About the Role: As a Social Worker in our Assessment & Intervention team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting children, young people, and families in need. You'll manage a defined caseload, conducting assessments, providing short-term interventions, and collaborating with partners to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those we serve. From pre-birth to a child's 18th birthday, you'll make a positive impact and help families achieve positive change and improved outcomes.
What You'll Need:
- Diploma or degree in social work, registered with Social Work England.
- Demonstrable capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards.
- Ability to apply social work knowledge with emotional intelligence and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in information technology and related systems.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet the needs of families.
- A driving license and access to a car, as the role requires travel within Essex and beyond.
