Are you an experienced and qualified Social Worker looking for a new challenge? We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join a Child Exploitation team within a city-based local authority. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality social work service to the client group, implementing and coordinating complex assessments, and monitoring service contracts in partnership with agencies and health professionals. You will also be responsible for managing a complex caseload, producing reports for a variety of audiences, and engaging in court work including the writing of statements of evidence.
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration and a social work degree or equivalent. You should also have a strong knowledge of key legislation relevant to social care and adoption, as well as the functions of a health and social care department and related agencies. Experience in managing a complex caseload, organizing and prioritizing work effectively, and strong influencing and negotiating skills are also essential.
