We have an exciting Locum opportunity within a Community Mental Health Team in the Blackburn area. The team support individuals with serious and enduring Mental Health conditions, complex care and support needs including support to their families and carers with the aim to improve Mental Health and well-being and to promote recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Dealing with an existing complex caseload of service users enduring Mental Health problems
• The role will include assessment and appropriate management or risks and providing casework supervisions to other team members
• Work with individuals and other stakeholders to assist service planning

To be considered for the Social Worker role:

• 1-3 years experience of working within a similar Mental Health social work setting
• Diploma/Degree in Social Work
• Registration with Social Work England
• Evidence of working with a complex caseload
• Good knowledge of the care act, mental capacity, safeguarding and Mental Health act
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
