We have a fantastic Locum Social Work Opportunity based within a Complex Safeguarding Team in the Bolton area. The team is ideally looking for an experienced, creative and committed Social Worker with good knowledge and experience of working with young people where there are concerns about child criminal exploitation and child sexual exploitation.

Responsibilities:
- The team works with all areas of Complex Safeguarding which are; high risk and complex domestic abuse, child criminal exploitation and child sexual exploitation.
- Assessing and supporting families through some of the most complex times of their lives
- Understanding risk and working with a variety of agencies to safeguard children during times of need
- Managing a mixture of casework associated with children in need and child protection
- Undertaking court proceedings, supported by your practice development manager and team manager as required.
To be considered for the Social Work role, ideally you will have:
- Have 1-3 years' experience in or be able to work with high risk and complex domestic abuse cases, children and young people vulnerable exploitation and have strong relationship building skills.
- Knowledge of Complex Safeguarding
- Be able to manage a full and complex caseload
- Be child-focused and able to implement relationship-based and systemic-based practices
- Have a good knowledge of the issues and risks faced by children in care and the procedures to manage these
- Work well individually and within a team
