Lancaster and Morecambe College are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic youth worker to support vulnerable Young People to make effective transitions into adulthood. This exciting new role, funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, will provide a range of interventions to Young People (14-25) currently not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) empowering them to re- engage with learning and progress into meaningful employment.
Essential qualifications include a Level 3 Youth Work or other relevant qualification, and GCSE English and Maths, Grade 4/C or above. Experience of working with Young People in a relevant industry and/or education is essential to this role.
